I believe you might be looking for a photographer and you somehow landed on my page. YAY! Well, I’m Courtney – the gal that takes the photos.
I am a desert-dwelling, (mostly natural light) portrait photographer from the PNW. I’ve photographed many, many genres over the years, but these days I shoot what I adore most. Give me all of the small families, fresh squishy babies & high school seniors! I’m a wife, a homeschool momma of 3 and a follower of Jesus.
I live life on the wild side by sitting at a sushi bar and saying “just surprise me!” Over the years I’ve learned that I’m happiest when I get quality time with my closest friends, while also getting an ample amount of alone time.
Now you’ve gotten a little glimpse of who I am and hopefully soon, I’ll get to meet you too! Until then I’d love to share how I approach my business.
If you’re wanting a photographer to show up and get the typical, posed, smiling “perfect looking” shots, we may not be the best fit. If you’re shopping around, trying to find the cheapest deal, we’re definitely not the best fit.
If you’re okay with windblown hair and running through sagebrush; if you’re not afraid to dance it out a little and if you can play it cool as your child throws a tantrum, then we’ll be friends in no time. You’ve gotta know that I will be getting all of those messy moments. The un-staged, imperfect moments are more real and meaningful than any perfectly posed shot could ever be. I want to give you something you’ll look back on again and again that will take you back to this genuine moment in time.
Photos are one of the only things that last past your childhood days. Photos stay with you as your marriage and children grow older. It’s something that will only increase in value over time because it will be that tangible thing you have left to remember these fleeting moments together.
